Starting and ending times
On May 25th, participants will be welcome to ESA HQ from 9:00am. The event itself will begin at 10:30am.
The first day will end at 7:00pm.
On May 26th, the doors will open at 9:00am and the second day sessions will start at 9:30am.
SpaceUp Paris will end at 4:00pm.
How to get there?
By car:
Parking your car in Paris can be difficult. There should be some places available near the UNESCO building but nothing can be guaranted.
You can also go to a car park like the Vinci car park in Joffre-Ecole Militaire (2, Place Joffre, Paris). At this particular park, the rate is 29.80 € for 24-hours and 73 € for 3 days. More information at vincipark.com.
By train:
There are different railway stations in Paris, the most important ones being Gare Montparnasse, Gare de Lyon, Gare du Nord (Eurostar and Thalys), Gare d’Austerlitz and Gare de l’Est. Connections to the subway are available in all stations.
By plane – Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport:
Charles de Gaulle airport is located to the north of Paris. You can either take the RER B or the RoissyBus to get to downtown Paris. The RoissyBus is the best option as it is nicer, cheaper and a little bit faster than the RER B. A ticket will cost you around 10 euros for a one way trip. By plane – Orly airport:
Orly airport is located to the south of Paris. You can either take the train (Orlyval then RER B) or a bus (OrlyBus) to get to downtown Paris. Both are quite good options, though the OrlyBus is cheaper and the RER B tends to become really crowdy during rush hours. We recommend you to take the OrlyBus unless you’re really in a hurry.

Lodging
Hotels:
There are many hotels available around the ESA headquarters and the area is nice and calm. If you are looking for a place with an easy access to parisian night life, have a look near the subway station Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
Some of the attendees have made reservations at this hotel. It is located within a short 10-minutes walk of ESA headquarters.
Any other hotel in Paris is also good. However, we advise you to check the transportation time to SpaceUp with the RATP website. If you have any question before booking, feel free to contact us.
